Smooth Shots uses a Konova P1-80 carbon slider paired with a fluid-drag head. The rig can be adjusted for different movement setups, while the fluid head lets pan and tilt resistance be tuned to suit the shot. That gives us controlled slides, push-ins, pull-outs, pans, tilts and deliberate parallax with repeatable speed and framing.
Gimbals are excellent for moving handheld shots, but they solve a different problem. They do not replace the precision and repeatability of a properly set slider move. For Smooth Shots, the slider is used deliberately because controlled movement is part of the visual style.

The Smooth Shots setup is designed to stay compact while creating deliberate camera movement. The Konova P1-80 slider can be configured for different shot directions, while the fluid-drag head adds adjustable pan and tilt control. The portable rig makes it practical to work around products, retail spaces, interiors and other business environments without turning a short social shoot into a large production.

Smooth Shots is a social-video concept by SpineSplitter Studio, focused on short promotional pieces that show products and businesses clearly, quickly and with impact.
The setup is deliberately portable and efficient, making it suited to local businesses, retail spaces, hospitality, products and events without turning a short social shoot into a full-scale production.
Smooth camera movement, including motorised slider shots where they fit the job, gives the content a polished feel while keeping the end result direct and social-first.
Smooth Shots is normally filmed on location at the client's showroom, shop, business, venue or other working space, so the content is built around the real environment. Products can also be brought to SpineSplitter Studio if preferred, with an additional setup charge where a dedicated backdrop, lighting arrangement or set needs to be prepared.
